Composer/Sound designer: Jethro Woodward
Jethro is a composition graduate of the VCA School of Music. For SPST, he has composed and operated sound designs on The Architect and the Emperor of Assyria, 4xBeckett, Woyzeck (creative development), The Black Swan of Trespass, Agoraphobe (creative development) and The Eisteddfod.
Over the past two years as either composer, sound design or assistant design/operator, Jethro has been involved in the following productions: A Quarrelling Pair (Aphids), From The Door To The Gate It will Rain (Christina Sheppard), Mishima in the City (Liminal), Sideshow (Rawcus), Autobiography of Red (Luke Mullins), Stitching (Theatre@Risk), Two (Soul Theatre), The Glass Garden (GodBeInMyMouth - Sydney Festival), Murray Anderson Road (Danceworks), The Inhabited Woman (Richard Murphet & Lisa Shelton), Black Medea (Company B Belvoir and Malthouse), Not Dead Yet (Rawcus) and Test Pattern (Platform). His work for The Eisteddfod, Sideshow and Mishima in the City was nominated for a Green Room Award.
In 2005 he undertook professional development in New York and Ann Arbor , Michigan supported by the Ian Potter Cultural Trust, researching innovative approaches to Sound Design and Operation.
